Selflocking differential

The Torsen limited slip differential allows a significantly increase in car traction especially in sporty driving when you’re coming out of tight hairpin or bend, in those circumstances where, while the car is unbalanced, the wheel weightless slip and doesn’t allow leaving the curve at full acceleration.

Indeed, unlike the “open” differential that drive torque to the slipping wheel, the Torsen can redirect part of the torque to the wheel with more traction thus ensuring exciting performance in those situations where a front wheel drive car usually is in difficulty.

Useful on the tuned front wheel drive cars like the 500 Abarth and the Grande Punto Abarth,
this differential is mounted without modification (plug&play) in place of the original differential
